Plant Engineer - Mechanical or Electrical

The Plant Engineer job family is responsible for technical activities relating to operations and maintenance of plant equipment during Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Commissioning and Operations. The Plant Engineer protects the installed configuration of the plant systems and provides technical support and issue resolution needed for operation and maintenance of the plant equipment. Under direction of the Plant Engineering Manager interacts with other Plant Engineers, Operations, Maintenance, WTP Project groups, subcontractors, and equipment vendors as required to perform job assignments.

Plant Engineers assigned to the Responsible Engineering team own the technical and quality requirements needed to support the procurement of spare/aging/obsolete components specific to mechanical and electrical systems within the facility.  Responsible Engineers will learn how to efficiently develop the technical requirements and work with Suppliers to allow for delivery of components to support plant operations.  

Education: Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline or related science from a four-year accredited college or university.

Experience: Entry level (0 years) to one year of professional experience.
