Crook County Outreach Advocate

Saving Grace is hiring a full-time Outreach Advocate in Prineville to provide direct services to intimate partner violence and sexual assault survivors. Saving Grace offers safety, hope, and healing to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault and engages Central Oregon to build life free from violence.

The Outreach Advocate will provide direct services, network and advocate for survivors’ needs, and promote a coordinated community response through collaboration with partner agencies. Advocate is co-located one day per week with Dept. of Human Services to provide services to DHS-referred clients.

One to two years’ experience working in family violence, child development, or related social services field; social services or other related bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Seeking an individual with exceptional communication skills who works well individually and within a team, and who responds effectively to crisis situations. Position is full-time at 35 hours per week, approx. $16.50/hour, with a generous benefit package. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, with 5% wage differential.
