Accounting Intern
EarthCruiser USA LLC would like to talk to you about an Accounting internship located in Bend, OR.
We manufacture world class overland expedition vehicles. The primary responsibilities will include general support of finance departments. Intern will be mentored in the duties and roles of the department, therefore must be able to take direction and ask for guidance, when path forward is unclear.
Due to COVID-19 requirements for private office locations, this position requires wearing of personal protective equipment, primarily face masks, when social distancing can not be maintained during the working hours. The position works in a manufacturing office with constant background noise. This is a part-time internship position.
Key Job Responsibilities:
General
- Adhere to company policies such as those relating to safety and quality
- Organize documents and client folders (on the computer and hard copies)
- Scanning, filing, and archiving of documentation
- Perform document updates/revisions
- Work as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities when necessary
Accounting
- Assist with entry and processing of accounts payable invoices
- Prepare weekly AP aging report and process weekly check run
- Communicate with vendors payment status
- Assist with month end credit card reconciliations
- Process AR invoice payments and bank deposits
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma minimum required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful but not required
- Ability to operate general office equipment such as computer, copier, printer, scanner, etc.
- High competence with computer skills for Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail and a strong work ethic with the ability to stay focused on simple tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a team player who works well within a small team environment
- US work authorization required
