Web Hosting Sales Support Specialist

About this Job

The Web Hosting Sales Specialist is responsible for providing high level customer service, offering courteous and enthusiastic sales support with solutions to meet each client’s needs.  

Schedule

We will consider both part-time and full-time applicants. We offer a somewhat flexible schedule that may be able to accommodate a class schedule.


Responsibilities

Provide Inbound Sales Support via phone, email, and live-chat for web-hosting services including shared, VPS, dedicated, reseller, and colocation clients;

Provide product recommendations and price quotations;

Maintain incoming prospect records for tracking and follow-up;

Engage with potential prospects via social media and industry-related forums;

Remain fully aware of the availability of all products and services offered by our company in order to best meet our customer’s needs;  

Actively support company policies and best practices in the area of security, with special emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information;

Qualifications

Knowledge of web hosting and/or the web hosting industry;

Technical skills sufficient to understand our services and to provide qualified assistance to our clients; 
 
Experience with servers, web hosting applications, and operating systems is ideal;

Understanding of the at least the basics of web design; 

Strong analytical, critical thinking, research and problem solving skills;

Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible, with team player attributes;

Ability to learn quickly and work independently;
