Social Media intern for Scott Schaier's campaign for Deschutes County Sheriff

Schaier for Sheriff Social Media Internship
Focus:
45 day internship working for political campaign (Scott Schaier for Sheriff 2020) with focus on developing social media content and engaging youth voters. Candidates with interest in career fields of law enforcement, government service (local, State, Federal), political campaigning, lobbying, law, justice advocacy are ideal. All are encouraged to apply. 
Requirements:
H.S. graduate
Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking preferred

Term:
9/19 - 11/4
Duties: 
Develop creative social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Focus content to numerous audiences, to include Spanish speaking, students and young adults, and low voting populations using DEI principles
Manage social media, engage supporters, direct questions to CM and candidate for answer.
Duties to be performed primarily remotely with regular Zoom or in-person meetings scheduled.
Compensation
$15/hr for 8 hours per week, 6 week total duration. $240 paid bi-weekly starting 9/19
