ProActive Physical Therapy Specialists is looking for a full-time Physical Therapy Tech at our Redmond location. 
 
Summary:
Performs routine tasks in assisting physical therapists in maintenance of cleaning and preparing treatment areas, equipment, and supplies. Helps with patient preparation, exercise and treatment. Assists the therapist with efficient flow of the schedule and reduces waiting time of the patients. Responsible for positive patient interaction with excellent communication skills and customer service. Must be able to multi-task and problem solve.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Performs general cleaning duties in clinic and waiting room, opening & closing duties.
  • Prepares equipment and treatment areas for patients.
  • Prepares patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation as needed.
  • Assures adequate linen and supplies in room.
  • Assists with maintenance and cleaning of equipment and clinic.
  • Routinely inventories equipment and supplies and notifies the Office Manager of items to order.
  • Assists in basic physical therapy duties under supervision of Physical Therapist.
  • Efficient patient set up with modalities to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Other responsibilities /duties as assigned
 
Requirements:  
 
  • High School Diploma or GED, student with background in health/wellness or personal training. Pre-physical therapy or allied health degree tract preferred.
  • Ability to interact with patients and engage them.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professional/courteous communication.
  • Positive, friendly and professional interactions with patients
