- - Work in the Technology Center in Mount Prospect, Illinois. This 23,500 square-foot facility is home to our research and development teams and supports the complete innovation life cycle, from new ideas and concepts to product design, prototyping, testing and validation.
Intern, Mechanical Engineering
Reporting to the North America Engineering Manager, the Intern, Mechanical Engineering is responsible for:
- Utilizing SolidWorks CAD software to update/create customer outline drawings and 3D models.
- Creating/updating technical information on Littelfuse website.
- Assisting in creation of samples for product testing.
- Participating in product testing in lab.
- Participating in product testing in lab.
- Shadowing Engineer(s) on day to day project work.
About You:
- Junior or Senior year as an Undergraduate/Graduate student, Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Degree preferred.
- SolidWorks CAD, MS office suite, good planning and communication skills.
