Project Engineer
Emerald is now hiring an Engineer for a project in Eugene, OR, lasting until November 2019. Our client is a construction/engineering firm based out of Portland that works on large-scale projects locally and nationally. This is an exciting on-site opportunity for an erection project, where you’ll have the chance to provide real time assistance to ensure the project is progressing properly. As the Project Engineer, you’ll be reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, coordinating with field superintendents, creating/writing change orders, project planning, identifying on-site hazards, and more. Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2+ Years Engineering, Structural or Architectural Drafting Experience Preferred (Internships count!)
- Steel Fabrication Experience Preferred
- Strong Understanding on Engineering Terminology
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Familiar with Construction Software such as Bluebeam or Viewpoint
Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Project to last until November 2019)
