·      Powertrain and thermal management electrical, electronic, battery and communication systems

·      Design, improve and verify such systems

·      Torque converters, transmissions, hybrid and battery systems

·      Collaborating with internal and external customers

·      Wiring, device interface, CAN communications, sensors, actuators, and other vehicle devices/user interface systems (selection/modification/verification)

·      Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Electro Mechanical Engineering

·      Experience in an industrial manufacturing testing environment or a related discipline required.

·      Experience with dynamometer testing, CAN-based communications, sensors, diagnostics, driver interface are pluses

·      Skill in NI LabView required and NI Test Stand preferred.

·      Skill in Auto CAD preferred.

·      Able to create documents in MS Word, Excel and Access.

·      Proven track record of success in hands-on building, maintenance and repair of test equipment, including mechanical and electrical maintenance.

·      While traditional engineering and programming skills are essential for excellence in this position, hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair skills are equally essential.

·      Must be able to respond effectively to unanticipated, time-sensitive and mission-critical test stand repair needs in a rapidly changing, high intensity environment.

·      Must be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the engineering team, as well as with production personnel and senior management.
