Intern, Quality Engineering (Summer 2019)

We’re currently looking for an Engineering Intern to join us in our Brooklyn Park, MN office during the Summer 2019 term (May - August.)

The Quality Intern will work with the Quality/Engineering teams, assisting with DMR remediation and continuous improvement.

Job Duties:
As an intern working within the Quality team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. You will contribute to our mission by working with the teams responsible for delivering innovative medical products. A typical day for you will include:

* Supporting activities involved with product quality

* Working on projects to improve regulatory compliance of product Device Master Record documentation

* Interacting with engineers of various engineering & science disciplines

* Collaborating with your supervisor and team to take on and complete assignments and projects

* Participating and adding value during meetings and discussions

* Networking with other interns informally or through internship program activities such as our weekly group learning sessions

Backgrounds under consideration for this internship include:

* Biomedical engineering

* Quality Sciences

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Only qualified candidates will be considered):

* Must be a college student pursuing an engineering degree or similar

* Must have completed sophomore year status of a Bachelor's Degree at an accredited 4-year college and/or be currently enrolled in a full time graduate school program

* Must have cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher

* Strong analytical and organizational skills

* Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic and deadline driven environment

* Strong interpersonal skills 

* Strong attention to detail is required

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Currently pursuing degree in Quality Sciences or Biomedical Engineering

* Familiarity with Agile Documentation Control & Oracle systems
