Job Description
The vacancy in the Production Department is a full-time, salaried, exempt position expected to begin following your graduation. Typical Duties Include:
- Provide training and leadership to ensure that employees are performing assigned work properly;
- Coordinate scheduling of personnel via the Human Resources Office to provide adequate staffing for production requirements;
- Control line flows and blend rates as necessary and directed;
- Monitor assigned production charts and processing equipment and authorize adjustments as needed;
- Assist with the supervision of sanitation operations as necessary;
- Enforce rules, regulations and procedures;
- Monitor production to ensure that safety, quality and cost standards are maintained;
- Evaluate subordinate performance, communicate with employees and provide information for work performance improvement;
- Responsible for several shift reports and employee time-cards.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture, Operations, or related fields.
- 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- One to two years production processing experience desired
- Excellent PC skills, to include Windows, Word, and Excel
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership, strong work ethic, proactive thinking, maturity, and creative capabilities
- Previous experience in a food-processing environment is highly preferred
- Ability to work weekends and/or shift work with a strong work ethic and employment history
- Ability to work at any manufacturing plant location (Washington: Quincy, Warden, Connell, Pasco, Richland; Oregon: Hermiston, Boardman; Idaho: Twin Falls, American Falls; Minnesota: Park Rapids; Louisiana: Delhi)
