About McMinnville Economic Development Partnership (MEDP)
To help our companies connect to people with the right skills, the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership (MEDP) offers the McMinnville WORKS Summer Internship Program. Led by our local industry leaders, it's a "grow our own" approach to local talent development. This award-winning program is a 9-week project-based, paid summer internship designed to connect the emerging workforce with career opportunities in McMinnville, OR. The program includes weekly Professional Development Workshops along with company tours to give interns a perspective of the diverse industries here in McMinnville.

The 2019 Summer Internship Program Application is open January 7, 2019 and will close February 15, 2019. We currently have 17 Host Companies in the McMinnville area with 20 positions available for the 9 week summer internship program. Internships run June 10 - August 9, but may vary by company.

*MEDP has one extended internship available for the McMinnville WORKS Internship Coordinator who will manage the entire program. Get up close and work personally with all the host companies, interns, and Professional development speakers. A great opportunity to learn, network, and gain valuable project management and marketing skills. The MEDP internship runs from May 20 - August 16, 2019.
