Data Analyst

Job Duties:
This position reports into the Finance BI Data Services team and supports the development and implementation of business data and analytics products and solutions. It’s an exciting and fast paced team. You’ll have access to cutting edge tools and work with world class people across a variety of business and problem domains.
As a Data Analyst, you’ll work with business areas to determine data requirements, develop these requirements into functional specifications and design & build analytical solutions. You should be familiar with SQL and using tools like Business Objects, Tableau, Allteryx, and Qlikview. You’ll need a curious mindset and perhaps have some background in order, sales and software company operations. You have a familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling or a willingness to learn.

•Design and develop reporting and metrics that track the efficiency of business operations
•Analyze Business data to develop meaning, insights and identify trends
•Collaborate with both customers and technical professionals
•Partner with managers to analyze the work processes and operations within their teams
•Develop recommendations for standardized metrics and reporting improvements
•Prepare and present recommendations to leadership on an ongoing basis
•Establish project plans to achieve desired business outcomes
•Participate in small cross-functional project teams on an ad hoc basis
•Familiar with data reconciliation and data profiling strategies
•Work directly with customers and conduct users training and onboarding
Job Qualifications:
•BA / BS preferred
•Experience in high tech environment
•Intermediate Tableau / Qlik experience (create data sources, transform data, combine data sources, create analyses, create & distribute dashboards)
•Novice SQL skills
•Experience using Excel for data manipulation & management
•Strategic, analytical and problem solving skills
•Experience working cross-functionally
•Experience working independently with minimum supervision
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
