Job Summary
This position will involve developing, programming, installing, and commissioning automation controls for the sawmill industry. Controls engineers will work with cutting edge technology in the field PLC controls, Motion Control, Machine Vision and more. Controls Engineering Interns will spend time engineering systems in the Woodland WA office.
Controls Engineer
Your responsibilities will include:
· Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC programming
· Delta RMC motion control programming
· FactoryTalk HMI development
· High-level design, implementation, startup, and troubleshooting (field travel is required)
· Design, program and commission Vision applications using industrial smart-cameras
· Flexible work hours for 20-40 hours a week.
You’ll need to be a team player with:
§ In process of obtaining a BS in Engineering Degree
§ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
§ Basic understanding of mechanical machinery, fluid power systems, fabrication and machining processes, materials, robotics.
§ Ability to effectively communicate ideas and interact with internal departments.
§ Strong work ethic
