Project/Production Planner

One-Cycle Control, Inc. (OCC) is a growing high-tech company in the power and energy space offering ground-breaking technology and products for the clean energy market. OCC manufactures high density, fast response, and high-reliability PFC rectifiers, inverters, active power filters, and Dynamic VAR compensator. Our award-winning modular products serve as building blocks for renewables, energy storage, grid stabilization, micro-grid applications, and industrial applications.

We are in the phase of ramping up production and our goal is to supply high-quality American power converter products at a high volume production rate and create jobs in California.
We have an opening for a planner. This person will plan projects and production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
Job function:Job function:
  • Create, maintain & update schedules (with an MS Project)
  • Prepares and coordinates the modeling and re-engineering of the Integrated Master Schedule for new or existing programs and supports the integration of the Integrated Master Plan into the Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Establishes and coordinates business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting objectives.
  • Utilizing applicable project management tools, implement network logic and measurement methods to perform critical path and risk analyses. Communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable stakeholders.
  • Implement, maintain and manage planning products in support of planning processes. Perform independent network analyses resulting in reports and metrics.
  • Conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management.
  • Maintains and coordinates vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the Integrated Master Schedule, and the Program Summary Master Schedule.

Qualification
  • Recent Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or Science field
  • Experience with Toyota Production System is a plus.
  • Experience using MS Project software is a plus.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand.
  • Problem-solving ability in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
  • Open-minded, collaborative and team-oriented attitude
  • Strong work ethics
  • Good oral and written communication skills essential.
  • US citizenship or green card required.
